Why wouldn't I just hire a full-time designer?
The annual cost of a senior-level designer exceeds $100,000, and you may not always have enough work to keep them busy. With our monthly plan, you can pause and resume your subscription as needed, paying only when you have work available for them.
Is there a limit to requests?
No, there is no limit to the number of design requests you can have. Once you subscribe, you can add as many requests to your queue as you wish, and our team will deliver them to you one by one.
When can I expect my design tasks?
On average, most requests are completed in just two days or less. However, more complex requests can take longer, in that case it will be communicated to you via slack.
Do we have regular meetings?
We’re all about asynchronous execution to save time. The entire communication will be async through the Slack to speed up the workflow process but if you feel the need to explain something more in detail about a particular feature or feedback, you can always record a loom video and go deeper into details. We’ll walk you through that.
How many designers are there?
There's no middle man, no extra people involved. This is just to provide you with top-notch quality and the best response rate. You'll work with the top tier designer directly or the team of designers and project managers based on your plan/subscription.
When can I receive updates? What if it's a small task?
You'll get updates between 1 and 3 business days depending on design complexity. For example if we talk about creating a custom icon, it will take under 1 day. If there's a full page design it will take up to 3 days for the first draft. All designs are custom created based on your requirements, without using pre-built templates.
What tools do you use at Circuit?
We use a combination of figma for design, slack for task management & communication and finally loom to send you asynchronous updates.
How do I request a task? How do you prioritise?
The most common way to request designs is directly via Slack. There you can share any type of files like wireframes, Google docs, or even recording a brief Loom video (for people that don't have enough time to write a full project scope) so we can hop on it right away. We execute tasks 1 by 1 based on order, priority will be discussed before execution.
What if I don't like the output?
This rarely happens, even if something is not perfect from the first draft, no worries. You have unlimited feedback changes until you are 200% satisfied. We got you.
I dont have multiple design needs, what if I need a single task?
This can happen, we’re aware. Once your single request is done, you can pause the subscription by sending us an email. Also, you can come back and resume your subscription anytime you have new requests.
What is your refund policy?
Due to the nature of work, there is no money-back guarantee, but we promise to do our best if you’re unsatisfied.
Can I add my team members?
Yes, all Circuit plans allow for unlimited team members within slack but there can be only one design queue, however if you require a more customised subscription, we can discuss.
